Dhruva Captures is a wedding photography and cinematography studio based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. We shoot documentary-style — available light first, minimal direction, and a quiet presence that lets the day unfold exactly as it should.
Every frame is composed in camera and finished by hand: warm, filmic grading, true skin tones and blacks that hold their depth. Two lead shooters, prime lenses, and a second cinema unit on every wedding.
Shot candidly, lit honestly
We work the room the way a photojournalist would — long lenses from a distance, wide primes when the emotion is close, and off-camera light only when the room asks for it. No stiff line-ups, no repeated takes: the frames you keep are the ones that actually happened.
Colour grading with a filmic soul
Every select is culled, retouched and graded in-house against a calibrated reference. Warm highlights, gently rolled blacks and a subtle halation borrowed from 35mm stock — a look that stays beautiful decades after the day itself.
We travel with the whole kit
Palace courtyards, beach mandaps, mountain elopements — our crews fly with full prime kits, cinema bodies, drones and low-light rigs, so nothing about the location limits the frame.
